Playin' with REP!

Downloaded Real Environment Pro. Not sure if I like the water effect but I do like the sky.

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

That second one is very nice! 8-) :)

I felt the same about the water from REP, then Harold pointed this one out: (see my first post in this thread for all the links)

It's a bit of mess to acquire all the parts, but it's the closest you can get to FSX water in FS9 for free, and it was assembled by one of the great scenery masters himself. 8-)

Enjoy!

Let me know which ones you need, and I will email them to you.

If I ever hear back from all the authors involved, I would like to upload this in a pre-made set, no need to hunt down all those files. ;)

Thanks. I was not able to get:
Lynn and Bill Lyons' fs9watga3.zip env_overcast.bmp
and night road textures

Daniel Buechter's new_waves3.zip env_dawn.bmp, env_dusk.bmp,
and OceanHeightField.bmp

Peter Wilding's pwover16.zip env_highmoon.bmp and env_newmoon.bmp.

Vance Roberts' roadpac1.zip

I think that is all that was listed. I'm a little confused. Do I continue to use the rest of REP or go back to default when I use these?

I'm sure a lot of people would be very appreciative if you did put these into a pre-made set.

Leave what ever you installed from REP in place, you will just drop these textures in and overwrite when asked. (REP backed up your originals. ;))

They should be on the way shortly. :)

I like how the second one gives you the "feel" of speed. Nice shots!

Thanks. But I can't take credit for the speed look. It started to rain a little and that's what did it. Caught me unawares, I wasn't expecting it to rain. ::) :)
