Specter177's Iraq shot: Edited by ShaneG

Postby ShaneG_old » Sun Mar 22, 2009 11:33 am

I felt really inspired by Specter177's shot for the X vs 9 comp, so I decided to do an edit of it. I wasn't going to post it, since I didn't take the shot, but after showing it to Specter, he thought I should. So here it is. :)

I know a few guys over in Iraq, and this looks almost like one of the pictures they've sent back. So this shot kind of hit home for me.

I hope you all enjoy. :)

Nice! I like what you did to the textures on the buildings.  :)

Cool!

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

I'd say that UFO is an Artie round or a mortar

A lot of feeling in the edit, very bright, hot and dusty. Looks best to me if I unfocus my eyes a little and sit back.
