So I whipped this up, my first try at adding heli rotors, what do you guys think?

Looks pretty good, but I think the rotors could use some more "body". And the chopper could be a bit more in the center of attention.

I agree about the rotors - but for me the composition works as it is. it's not easy with such a busy backdrop, but you have used the focus of the water very well.

Not sure - but maybe try adding a gentle highlight to the water (not all, just where the light would catch) - this might draw the eye in to the heli better. imho
