That's better Nick.  Not so suicidal now ;)  But still a little "seat of the pants" involved here.  I don't want to tell you how to do your shots because that's down to you m8.  But I think if the Jumbo is heading towards the camera it may be a little more dramatic with that gorgeous skyline behind it.  Just my opinion not that it's worth much lol.  I'm still new at this myself! :)

It's a bit better, but the Sydney one was much nicer. Plane heading directly for tall buildings, esp. in NY doesn't give me a good feeling....

No reason for the buildings to be so blurry. That background is 7952 by 1875. Cut a smaller piece, go in closer and make it a vertical.
