enspyro'ed takeoffs

Made these for Spyro's Judge's Choice comp. Just the usual 'enhanced' screenies... 8-)

Really nice work, M8! Each unique and each beautiful in it's own way!  :)

"Thanks for looking, as the flasher said... " You too funny! Maybe even three funny!  ;D

Do you like to make composites, Krigl?

All are brilliant Roger, but I hate to say it, but the Vegas pic or the last pic would have won the comp hands down methinks! :o

They are all so beautiful.  I think the last two are my favorites, but the others are so good too. Great, great job. Some of the best non-composite edits i've ever seen.

Thanks guys, glad you like them!! First and last are my favourites, third is just another sunset but also turned out fine enough  :)

Garn!! Last time I took part Voodoo1 and everyone said the same about my 3 F1 shots - I chose the wrong one for the comp.  ::) ;D

Maybe I should have entered all of them and let you choose.  :D

Do you like to make composites, Krigl?

Not really - it would take too long for me to learn to  do it properly, and it involves too much work for me - I need the time for flying, posting, downloading, taking shots etc  :) I enjoy trying to make FS screenshots look as real as possible, or just enhancing them. It's easy and fun.

Other things - using someone else's  picture (which I'd have to do) would mean the composite wasn't all my own work. And if I blend the plane in so it looks like a photo I might as well be looking at a real photo... I don't get much of a kick out of that, though I admire the skill of people who do it well and show things you couldn't normally see photo's of etc.

The real art of making composites is imho in all the details and getting them right - history, location, realism... as well  as going the  whole mile and repainting aircraft specifically to be used for the pic, as well as painting explosions, the pilot's face, tracer,  contrails etc. This is unquestionably a serious art form and well beyond me  :)
Maybe in 15 years I'll give it a go, when my children are older and I have more time for myself....

Cheers

Krigl
