Very nice, Brett! Clean, well-balanced, well-composed, interesting and great use of highlights and shadows!

P. S. If you did choose to do it, the puddle wouldn't have to be completely contained within the frame. It could extend "forward" out of the frame. That might make a more open feeling and add to the sense of motion and direction.

This is one of your best ....... however I agree with Harry it would be a masterpiece if the runway had puddles on it.

Thanks guys it was something I was thinking of doing anyways so I had to try it..  I thought though if there's puddles there has to be spray and lots of moisture so I had to add some.

1280x960 mate at SSA..  http://www.screenshotart.com/index.php?showtopic=28450 Many thanks for the kind words.  I wish my day job was editing shots that would suit me down to the ground mate.   These don't take long to do really.

OMG, Brett! You passed the dreaded "john_uk" test! Good for you, John! Glad you found one that's "right".  ;D ;) :)

It's not at all what I had envisioned Brett BUT it's BETTER than what I had envisioned. Your "mist" idea was the key!  8-)

I downloaded both and viewed them sequentially against a black background. It's amazing the amount of detailed work you did with the mist around the plane.  :o

I'd say you made the "Masterpiece" level with this one, Brett. The re-edit has much more life and "humanity" to it. By comparison, the first one, which is great, appears much more sterile and rigid. The reworked one just flows! Great artistic vision, Brett, and great technique!  :)

For work above and beyond the call of duty you are hereby awarded the presitigious "Fig Leaf Cluster with Fluted Urn and Finial Dangle". Wear it with pride!  ;) :)

Hey, John! If your response to an image that you like is to drool over it, I think I'll just continue to make ones that are "FUBAR".  ;D ;D ;) :)

How about a real challenge, Voodoo and Harry?

Do an edit of LSK MiG-23s. Or LSK MiG-29s.
