Nice edits Crossfire! The first one is the best IMO. But the second one... the heat blur is interesting but I have some tips:

1. Make it narrower. Look at the engine nozzle. Would air escape like that IRL?  ;)

2. After using the ripple to create that effect use the gaussian blur over the same area to make it look a little more subtle.

Other than that great first edits!  ;)

thanks for the tips An-225  8-) I see what you mean about the heat blur now, it does look a bit unrealistic, i try those things for next time :)
