Bonanza In The Snow

Postby FTL992 » Sat Dec 23, 2006 12:22 am

This is my third edit.  I wanted to add fog but I wasn't sure how to go about doing that so I left it how it was :D.

Bonanza has to make an emergency exit very risky but it is a life or death situation.  The city has been trapped in a major snow storm for a few days and someone needs medication that their life depends on.  Only way out is by plane, the roads are way to bad for vehicle to travel in.  The bonanza pilots makes a risky risky take off to get out and successfully makes it.  Lets just hope he is safe on his trip there and back.

Very... interesting...  ;D  Lovely edit but... I don't think they would risk flying a Bonanza in that weather... they do not possess de-icing equipment... lets hope he makes indeed.  May Ice have Mercy on his Ele-ruder.  :'(  He is a brave soul.

;D the snow tire trail idea is original! He must have been slidin' around a bit.  8-)

Thanks for the comment!  Yeah I know it's unrealistic but what can you say the idea just popped into my mind and I went to work :P.

Good deal! I get all sorts of ideas... but many don't find them very pleasant... lmao  ;D  Most of my edits involve aircraft on fire.

Nice edit. It looks like the tail is hitting the ground.  :o

To make it look a bit better, you should set the visibility distance to a lower value in FS. I doubt you can see this far in such heavy snowfall.

Yeah thats why i was trying to add a fog.  Here is what the image started as..

So, i was trying to add a fog to reduce visibility but wasn't sure how to make one that looked good.  I guess i just need to experiment with that.
