Best advice Ken is get your hands on the book "The Vulcan Story" byTim Laming. It is a MUST have for any Vulcan enthusiast.
If you message me any questions you have on the real XH558 I'll try and help. I've got tonnes of stuff, including the sweatshirt!!!

Mark ;)

I must have counted every rivet under the Vulcan wing in that cold winter 1962/63. Freezing my butt off 1hr on 1hr off static guard. I came to hate the b*****ds, dripping antifreeze over my anorak. ::)

i can tell you the vulcan to the skies group generally has 4 tents at the yeovil airshow, and outside each tent they have a sign, this sign is about 3 foot in height and seems to be 10 foot long, meaning if your busy watching the display while walking along your bound to find it:) i found that out the hard way last year, this year i think i will donate if they are still there as i think they also intenionally push that sign under peoples feet to try and get some money, may aswell save the swolen shins:)
tis a beautiful plane thats for sure
