An inside view of WACO Classic

Postby wifesaysno » Mon Jun 18, 2012 5:14 pm

Before my day started I snagged a picture of my office view. The green and white plane is a vintage WACO QCF. She was a restoration project for WACO Classic's restoration and aircraft sale side called Centennial.

Unfortunately her future is not looking to good. She has not flown in a long time and it does not look like she will for many more years. So she is our resident "Hanger Queen". Sad, that thing is cute as a button!

The red and cream WACO is a YMF-5C that suffered a 'small' ground loop. Her lower left wing tip got scrapped up a bit and is getting repaired. Hence why the lower left wing is curiously missing.

The big beautiful red, black, and gold WACO in front is a recent arrival for maintenance work and potential sale. My lands she is absolutely stunning!

Back behind all the planes on the left side is the welding area with a few WACO and Great Lakes frames being worked on....look closely and you might see Daisy, our resident bird eating dog! (gotta prevent bird strikes some how ;) )

Man that red and black bird is stunning! How I would love to go up in that one!
My specs... A hard drive, motherboard, graphics card, some memory, a keyboard, mouse, and monitor - in other words, nothing special.
