Boeing 787 First Flight-Dec 15th

Postby Mitch. » Fri Dec 11, 2009 3:34 am

Yes, finally its official. Boeing 787's first flight will occur on Tuesday December 15th at 10am, weather permitting. Really looking forward to seeing this baby in the air after much delay, hope it all goes well. 8-)

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

I'll believe it when that thing achieves a positive rate of climb. ;)

Seconded. 787 first flight has been imminent twice already (August 2007 and June 2009).

My specs... A hard drive, motherboard, graphics card, some memory, a keyboard, mouse, and monitor - in other words, nothing special.

Need to put the spoilers in first. Very odd seeing an aeroplane rotate with the spoilers out! :)
