Made an emergency landing at Manila. Everyone ok :)

At least they had early confirmation that their bags were in fact on the same plane... ;D

At least they had early confirmation that their bags were in fact on the same plane... ;D

Amateur footage of the landing. Guessing that checking all electronic equipment was turned off for landing was rather low on the crew's list of priorities at the time ;)

Having repacked all the O2 masks on an A320 due to a wardrobe malfunction finger malfunction, I am not at all envious of the the Qantas guys, 500 plus masks and O2 generators to replace. Big job. Almost as long as the patch repair the skin needs.

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.
