just wondering if anyone else has done these? Any clues as to what to expect would be great...! Got the Cockpit Web Pilapt and Numerpt software which i have been playing around with ...

anything else out of the ordinary i could/should be doing to prepare myself?  :)

Didnt go so well though. Passed the aptitudes with flying colours & the maths was fine. They failed me on the team excercies though, which was a bit gutting but i didn't perform well in them in all honesty. Only 2 people out of the 14 that attended actually got through though, so not too annoyed, especially seeing as im 18 and the second youngest after me was 25! Good news is they want me to reapply...so maybe after uni!

But yeh, if anyone wants any advice on it drop me a message or something...can tell you exactly what comes up.

Aha, I thought it was a gov't program... sure, there are plenty of "ATP mills" here in the US, aside from the university programs.

Again, sorry for coming in a bit late.

Hard luck on the selection. I had the same with the RAF at 18. Failed the group tasks. That was where 3 years at uni then did me good - I came out a more rounded (not in that sense) individual.

If you go to uni, have you considered a UAS - no commitment to join the RAF, but good "life" experience, and all the "team" you could need. In fact if anything UAS's now look for those who want to do their activities and contribute to the Sqn life, not just join the RAF.
