Why Northrop won

Postby expat » Sun Mar 30, 2008 1:09 pm

Interesting article as to why Boeing lost and Northrop won (no mention of Air Bus other than to say Northrop's (design) was based on the larger A330 made by EADS unit Airbus, based in Toulouse, France)

Northrop
"A bit of a pickle" - British translation: A catastrophically bad situation with potentially fatal consequences.

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

I was going to start some thing like this. Their is a lot of stuff in the Air Force Times  on this subject. All the way to the break down of both planes, and where both headquarters are based out of, since EADS is not based in France, nor is a threat to security like Boeing, the senators from Washington and Kansas.
