Whatever happened to the days when a Captain had final say on what does and doesn't go on his aeroplane? This was a private charter (albeit on a well known airline) and serves to show that airline bosses nowadays are a bunch of eejits who would have difficulty finding there own nether regions if the was a big sign on them saying "nether region"...

Possibly the co-pilot? I can't think of anyone else who'd have known such detail as was mentioned about Robbie's visit to the flight deck; "...was allowed near the controls..."

To the press, being in the cockpit is "near to the controls". If it was the co-pilot I'd have serious reservations as to why he hadn't objected to it in the first place if he were to then complain.

I would not be surprised if there is a lot more to this than just this one story. Pablo Mason has always been a man who calls a spade a spade and did things his way. Maybe this was the excuse that Mytravel where looking for.

This really is silly... even if this was an airline flight, there was probably just as much chance that the other flight officer was a terrorist "sleeper".

So far, no well-known athletes have interfered with the controls of an airplane, but there has been at least one instance where the pilot at the controls of an airliner has intentionally killed himself and everyone aboard.
 Food for thought... although I'm not saying the locked door policy is not a good idea for airline flights.
