More like an emergency landing than a crash... or was it an aborted takeoff? Hard to tell from the IDIOTIC comments always found with these clips on YouTube... dingbats...  ::)

There is something comical about that- it's a classic "schtick", something bizarre crossing an otherwise-peaceful frame...
OK to giggle at this one-  the plane was under control, and no serious injuries. Must've been a freaky ride for the pax, most of whom probably didn't have the faintest idea what was wrong or what would happen...

I think we can look at it like this: the video is hilarious, but the incident is not.  The video is just funny because everything seems normal and then all of a sudden this plane screams by with the nose gear gone making lots of fire, and then right after it passes everything seems normal again with a 747 taxiing past as if nothing happened.

It seems that these days, youtube is populated by retarded teenagers who love the anonymity of the net so that they can be abusive to other posters and practice their appalling grammar, spelling and very deficient language skills  ::)

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

That is a very cool shot of the incident.  Last reports we received on the investigation, it was a rejected takeoff after one of the engines warning lights came on.  Authorities are suspect of a 747F that had blown a tire on the runway that day.  Apparently in its fully loaded state and heavy braking action, the nose gear buckled.
