All the way down to Baltimore for some spotting? Philly has a good variety, and for Willit and I at least, is only half an hour away, assuming you drive like a 90 year old woman.

I might have to head over to Philly soon. I get my lisence exactly one month from today, so I can drive myself, and I'm sure there are some nice spots, especially where the road goes under the overrun for 26, or where it crosses the approach to 9R, just under 400yds from the threshold. And if they chase me away from there, I can always stop in the parking lot at Fort Mifflin.

I had to go to Virginia for the weekend, so I stopped at BWI on the way down. ;)

Yeah, I got my license yesterday. :) I need to take a trip to PHL, I know. We all have to go together though. :)

Really well. We actually got to the restaraunt the party was at after they did, so it was like a double-whammy surprise. ;D

I know. ::) I was going to say something, but I refrained. ;)

Nice one... but next time, stand on the roof of the car. That's a nice open area for spotting; a few feet higher and you'd have ben able to see over the bushes, etc.

"The roof is dented? No, I don't know how that could've happened..." ;D

Don't you mean :
Do I think they're more dangerous now that J. has joined the unruly ranks?  (they were never safe to begin with)::)

Of course you are a great driver, all 17 year olds are...

You might want to stay in your house 24/7 after December 20th, I will have a lisence and car, and would prefer not to kill anyone. ;)

My favorite plane watching site is just outside KMHT on the approach for the north bound runway.  It's on the side of a hill and right on runway centerline.  The planes fly over your head, following the hill and land below you on the runway.  It's awsome.

When a larger plane like a 737 lands the air crackles and swirls audibly for a good minute or two after the plane has passed.

Fly the approach to the north bound runway in MSFS and, if your terrain is accurate, you'll see what I mean.
