Little quiz

Postby Hagar » Mon Oct 23, 2006 8:25 am

OK then. Quiz time. I took this photo of a very rare historical artifact this morning only a short distance form where I live. It's possibly the only surviving example of its kind in the world. Can anybody hazard a guess as to what it belonged to?

Clue: It relates to a recent topic in this forum. Woodlouse is not allowed to take part as he knows the answer. :P :-*

;) Good try but it's a tad bigger than that & Spitfire props are not exactly rare.

Another clue: At a rough guess the ceiling of the room it's in is about 8 feet high.

I think I know it but I'll wait for other people to guess first.

Theis was correct. It's a blade from a Bristol Brabazon propeller. This one.
