Postby Ivan » Tue Oct 10, 2006 7:37 am

Crashed just before touchdown, burned out, 3 died, 1 missing with name recorded at hostpital, 12 accounted for.

Politics are rumbling already with the wreckage still smoking (airport was denied funding for a new tower and something about extra equipment)
Russian planes: IL-76 (all standard length ones),  Tu-154 and Il-62, Tu-134 and [url=http://an24.uw.hu/]An-24RV[/ur

more properly term would be "Over ran the runway and fell 20m down the terrain"...hence the fire.

the company chief pilot saw the aircraft land and nothing seemed wrong. But the crew couldnt get the aircraft to stop.
