Not bad for a design that's basically a glorified touring plane (evil grin ...  Me108/Taifun)

One cannot deny that that is one of the classic designs of an era filled with brilliant designers.

My comment of the '109 being a "glorified touring plane" is meant to be facetious.  For its time, the 108 was a major step in light planes.  That some of its features were incorporated into the 109, just makes good design logic.
