A fellow a few miles up the road recently rebuilt one of the Lotus 56 turbine cars from the '68 Indy 500. He replaced the original PT6 Pratt & Whitney engine and installed an Allison 250-C20 from a Jetranger. At his website he has some short vids of himself driving the thing on the streets of nearby Danville, where his business is located. He also has a Howmet Turbine car and a Foyt  Coyote #14.

You obviously haven't seen my Honda CB 500RR motor bike fitted with a Pratt and Whitney R-2800 Double Wasp, 2,000 HP, Radial engine, complete with water injection regulator.... 8)...!

I still can't get over how that thing sounds. Every time I hear it I think it is just sound effects put over the video.
