by restart do you mean close out completely or just start another flight with the superbug?

Close FSX completely :)

If it works, you will still get a 'rig" caution light. This just wants you to move the flight controls around to make sure they're operational. After you do this, the "rig" caution will go off. Now, arm your ejection seat, check trim, and you're ready to get in the air :)

O.K., after some reading and experimentation......try pushing Ctrl+Shift+F, this should reset the flight control system. After this I still have a "gen tie" caution. I don't know what this is but, further reading will eventually reveal the solution I think ;)

thanks for the help with the general movement thing. the start up and restart worked. :)

but now it will only get like 20 or 30 yards off the ground and just start floating down like there is no power or anything eventhough i have the engines on full and its not at a steap enough angle to stall.

Are there audible tones or cuation lights that come on when you add power?

Half flaps, full power, pull back gently at around 145 kts. She should fly.
I don't know if anyone asked this yet but, do you have Acceleration installed?

Install Acceleration. I went to the website and checked. They say Acceleration is required.
I think that will solve all of your problems :)

Btw, there is a printable "key functions" map in the ACM. It tells you what all of the custom button assignments are and how to activate the Key Command Mode.
