Just wanted to warn you guys of something that happened to me. I purchased Flight1's ATR 72/500 a while ago, and everything was great.....until I reformatted my HD. I did all my reinstalling, (FS9, payware, etc.) and commenced playing. That's when I got the infamous "invalid license" message while trying to select the ATR. After several more reinstalls, posting on their forum, and everything else I can think of I still find myself unable to use their product. I have heard that there is a different method used by persons without a internet connection available to install the product, so I contacted Flight1 about that (my last hope?). I'm not alone, there are several other posts on this very same topic. I'm not sure if the other virtual pilots are able to fix their problem or not, since they probably don't come back to post what happens. Maybe they do what I did, which was get P.O.'d and go to PMDG and buy the 737NG package. What I do know is that I got one reply from a tech guy, and that was the standard "have you done this?" reply that everyone else is getting. Ahhhh!!!!, I'm so frustrated with all the freakin' piracy protection that prevents me, the legitimate customer, from being able to use the product that I spent my hard earned money on. Did I mention that Pacific Fighters took offense to my DVD drive? That required downloading a .dll file to get PF to come around to my way of thinking. I just needed to vent and wanted to warn you guys about the Flight1 installer. Has anyone else here had this problem, and if so how did you fix it? If I find the answer I'll post it here.
