Paint Problem

Postby Hai Perso Coyone? » Sun May 01, 2005 7:27 am

Hello,
For some reason, everytime I load Meljet's 777-300 or POSKY's B747-400, I get a grey plane. no textures. or if there are textures, they appear only on one side of the plane or at random spots. anything i can do to make the textures appear right?

thanks,
ashar

I don't know much about textures, but if you go to www.avsim.com library, you will find many downloads of the same aircrafts, try downloading the same aircraft from there but the different file though, please try this, this is all i can suggest!!!!

cross reference the texture file with the aircraft.cfg file the SIM= in aircraft.cfg must read the same as the texture file ie:

sim=f-86fsabre
teture(folder)  f-86fsabre cowl.bmp
if any diff the texture willl not paint.

Papa,

that is not the problem, i checked. instead, the piant does appear. sometime's if i press CTRL+S i go to top down. then i zoom in all the way and then back out. still doesnt work,

sometimes the whole plane shows up, but the tail doesnt show up. is it a problem with my graphics card?

i had this problem on my other PC as well. maybe it's the 32Bit paint or the different texture files which is affecting...

Thanks anyway,
ashar :(
