Postby smash » Sun Mar 28, 2004 4:59 pm

I, excuse my english cause I use to speak French!!
I have a problem with my aircraft's textures. When I put a downloaed aircraft in FS 2002, sometimes the wings are black and other times, all the aircraft is black, i'd like to know if I have to get a software to correct it...

Thank's

Hi Smash. If the aircraft are installed correctly the texture format might not display properly on your system. This will depend on your graphics card. My first suggestion is to install the latest drivers from the graphics card manufacturer's site. The latest DirectX9.0b from the Microsoft site might also help. Be sure to install the correct version for your country.

If all else fails you might need to convert the textures to a different format. Try my suggestions with the drivers first.

If this is a metallic texture then make sure you have checked the reflective textures box in the display section, otherwise this can happen ;)

There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!
