Starting the engine

Postby BigPapaChuck » Sun Feb 22, 2004 5:07 pm

Are there any way to start the flight at a gate or ramp and then do the start up? When I start my flight the aircraft is already started and running.

Go to the airport/gate that you want to start at.  Shut everything down.  Save the flight.

Then when you restart FS thereafter, just select that flight and you'll be good to go.
Great edit, Bob.

Google it.

Or if you ALWAYS want the aircraft to appear there with the engine off, you can set it to the default flight when you save it.  Just check the little box when you save the flight that reads "Make Default Flight".

Ender...that's what Hyperion said lol. Also, there is a gauge available somewhere on SimV that starts the aircraft cold, everything off. Watch out though, it also does it if you save in the middle of the flight and come back later. All engines out and no electronics ain't too good at 35000 lol. :P
