A/P always on?

Postby Zaphod » Wed Nov 12, 2003 4:42 pm

Whenever I create a flight, the aircraft appears with the Auto-Pilot active, the GPS is displayed and the simulation is paused?
I've a feeling this is something simple but I don't seem to be able to do anything about it.

Help me please as I'm going mad..

Well, this has happened to me more than once!  The problem is, you saved a flight with those settings, so any subsequent flight will load the same way.  To change it, set everything how you want it and then press "Alt" to get the menu bar and select "Save Flight" from the "Flights" menu.  Name it whatever you want and then click the box "Make default flight".  Now quit and reload FS.  Start a flight, and it should be how you left it.

Cheers. :)

That worked just fine.Something else I've now learned. I can't tell you how pleased I am to have found this forum. Nothing like having the experts to help solve your probs. Just hope I'll be able to do so for someone sometime.

Thanks again.
