deleting add-ons

Postby Chief95 » Thu Nov 06, 2003 11:36 am

Is it possible to delete and add-on aircraft without causing a lot of problems? I am running short on disk space, and have some add-ons that I am not flying.

Thanks,

Dave

Hi Dave. Go ahead & delete them. This will cause no problems at all providing you don't mess with the defaults.

PS. Delete 3rd party scenery from the Scenery Library before removing the files.

Thanks Hagar,
So if I dont have any 3rd party scenery,  Can I proceed and just delete the add-on aircraft folder?

Sorry. I didn't mean to confuse you. Maybe I shouldn't have mentioned scenery at all but wanted to warn you just in case you wished to remove some. The aircraft & scenery are not related.

I haven't had any problems just deleting unwanted files from the aircraft folder. In an unrelated note, I also defrag quite frequently and that does improve performance.
