missing scenery cfg

Postby mag_ddave » Sat Sep 06, 2003 3:51 pm

??? Hi all. I have just gotten fs2002 (on sale now of course lol) Great sim. Two questions. When I open to the first screen ,I get an error message for a missing scenery cfg, westhem / carib , I think it is. I just click ok and continue but I'd like to know, is there a patch for this somewhere?
Also, student flight lesson two. Seems that half way through, you get stuck with the 10 degree banking turn and the lesson won't conclude. It just stops with the 10 degree bank " corrections by the instructor" over and over again.Kind of funny because that where the lesson actually begins unless use bump the joy stick to get the lesson to start at the beginning. Any fixes there? Oh yeah, this is not the pro version.
Thanks for your time :) :D ;D

The lessons are bugged and tend to be quite touchy.  The best way to learn is to select a 'plane you like and fly it around.

As to the scenery file it might be a good idea to look for it, it will be on disc three I think, somewhere!  It sounds like something went wrong during the install process.  I had that happen once, it got stuck halfway through and I got loads of error messages until I re-installed.

Welcome to SimV by the way.
