Hello Fellow Aviators,
I find it a problem when I'm on final approach in a DeHavilland Dash 8-100 having to slow below 100 knts (IAS) before I can lower the landing gear. (This throw's the procedure checklist out the door).
My Dash 8-400 allows me to extend the landing gear at around 135-140 knts.
Is there a way of modifying the AIRCRAFT.CFG to increase the Gear Ext. Speed.
I can land the way it is, but the 40 odd passangers in the back start to panic when I'm 50ft off the ground and engaging full power (lol).
Any advice would be appreciated
Thanks

If you have a copy of the Microsoft Sdk for the aircraft container, go to the contact points section and there is an explanation on how to adjust the extension and retraction times on the landing gears.
