FBO stands for Fixed Base Operation. Basically it's just a gas
station for airplanes. They provide a lot of other services.......
aircraft parking, maintenance etc., most importantly, for you books and charts. Every FBO is different. Some don't provide as many services as others, and there's no guarantee that Opa Locka will have the charts BUT most people you talk to at airports will be very friendly and helpful. Just explain what
you want, and the FBO will help you. If they don't have the chart you need, I guarantee someone on the field will. There
are several FBO's to choose from, but I'll just list two that will probably have what you need. Avia Flight Academy(305)681-3110 and Piedmont Aviation(305)688-4148. What your probably looking for is called a (VFR Sectional chart), for South Florida.
