Agreed...you'll be able to do things on a "gaming" computer that you can do on any other computer.

Exactly my point...I'm not going to spend money on something I don't really need.  On my Dell, specs to the left, I get amazing graphics and response.

As for your questions about Dell.  After some shopping around I went with Dell because I've heard nothing but nightmare stories about Gateway's service.  I've not had any problems in the year that I've owned my Dell, and I've purchased upgrades for it since then.  In fact, there is a second Dell unit in the back of a Fed Ex truck right this second just waiting to be delivered to my home.  lol  (And that one is even faster and bigger than the one I currently own!)

However, my point was simply that because of other things I'm involved in (i.e. learning to fly real planes, work, school, etc..) I can't really justify spending money on a so-called "Gaming Box"...it just doesn't seem logical to me.   ;)
