Best Add-ons for MS FS2002?

Postby MICROSOFT » Sun Jul 13, 2003 2:12 am

Hi,

      I would like to know which programs are considered by the forum members as the best ones for FS2002. I recently downloaded FSnavigator and I am having a great time with it. {The readme file says that we can autoland. Anybody know how?}

Thanks.

As always - it helps if you tell us what you do most in FS. What one person thinks is great - like military jets for example- another person wouldn't even look at because he prefers a more serious simulation of navigating a light single .    8)

I have been using fs navigator since I had Flight sim 98, and now using flight sim 2002 pro. The plane after take off and is placed on auto and will autoland at the destination providing you control flaps and gear, speed is done automatic. when loading your flight in fs nav use the sid and stars, and your plane will land ok, or use navaids.

I personally LOVED FSNavigator for the 20 flights I had it.  Then the trial ended and put the kabosh on that.  lol  I may pick it up as payware, but I'm one of those who graduated from the "Flying Should Be Free" school.  Yeah, the developers put thought, time, expense, and effort into the development of the utility, but I'm just not a big fan of payware in general.  I've tried to support only freeware...that's getting more and more difficult every download though!

I'd like to see some good, realistic damage effects.  I'd also like to see easier aircraft/scenery design utilities.  I'd also like to see a better ATC system...one that doesn't obstruct my view, for example.

There are many things that I'd LIKE to see (Britney Spears in my shower, for example), but chances are, none of them will ever happen.  (It's a really clean shower, too.)

As for add-ons that already exist, there are only a few that really stand out to me...POSKY and Meljet come to mind. ;)
Great edit, Bob.

In my opinion, these are some of the good things out there:

1. FSNavigator
2. HGSPanel(To autoland without difficulty)
3. Concorde aircraft model

Where and how can one purchase Britney? :D

Don't know if she's freeware. She's hot, though.
