Arrcab carriers

I installed and activated the V3 carriers from SimV, but when I start a flight from one my plane apears at Miegs ???
Also has anyone else had problems with dissapearing landing lights at night? Kinda makes night aproches imposible ::)
If someone with multiple personality disorder threatens suicide, is it a hostage situation?

You can't select the carriers from the normal list.

You have to click on the "Select Addon Scenery" radio button at the bottom of the window. Then you will get a list of all 18 of your ArrCab carriers. You can select from that list then it will start you on deck.

Never saw the lights go out, though.

Well, according to anyone who was around in the 70's, it should just be the ones in Georgia.

How they got carriers in Georgia, I'll never understand.  Maybe they were built there.  But if that's the case, fix the lights!

I just hope there's someone here old enough to appreciate the slight humor in this post. ;)

The lights disapear on the Washington with the Fruili scenery, might be the Lincoln.
The problm with the other carriers that I down;oaded today is that they apear on the munue but when I select them I apear at Meigs ???

Craig, read Fisharnos comments on this selecting issue! Follow them and you'll have no problems.
As for the disappearing lights, have you tuned NAV1?

thanks guys,  my first 3 wire and my first trap on the first attempt ;D

anyone know why the USN put an emphasis on catching the 3 wire ???

Actually I think its so you have more deck available to manoever on (best to ask Bman though as he was an F14 pilot).

Its part of the add-on carrier range available in the scenery downloads here. Its number 67 (I can never remember which number is which carrier!).

that ones the JFK, you get the Nimitz CVN 68, Dwight D Eisenhower CVN 69, Carl Vinson CVN 70, Roosevelt CVN 71, Abe Lincoln CVN 72, John C Stennis CVN 74, Harry S Truman CVN 75 and George Washington CVN 73.
