
It depends where you are starting your flight from. If you are creating a flight and start from Megis, it will use the system time. If starting from a different time zone, then it will use that time zones time.


By default, your flight usually starts with Megis, which is central time(- 6 hrs. from GMT). This time also is set to your system time, no matter where you live. If you start a flight from a different time zone, it will reflect the time zones time, not the system time.



Makes too much sense. I thought, (and I guess lots of us did), that checking the system time would always show what time your computer said.


Try starting a flight and then save it. It sounds like you are creating a flight which still will reference the central time zone, thus causing the 2 hour discrepancy. When you start your flight set the time in FS2002 to your time manually. This should eliminate the discrepancy. Make sure you save it.
