Weather

Postby FS2002fan » Thu Jul 03, 2003 5:43 pm

I want to be able to download the weather for all of my flight instead of just for my starting location.  Is there any way of doing this, or am i going to have to wait for fs2004?

Just download ActiveSky 1.1. The payware version of ActiveSky WxRE is good, but the freeware version constantly updates your weather as you fly. It's pretty great!

In FS02, it does download all the weather (not just the starting point).

I've got the freeware version of Active sky, but the last few weeks when I try to run it, all it does is set the visibiliy to nothing ???

You can upgrade your weather inflight anytime depending on the nearest reporting station and going through the whole download procedure. Click Alt on the keyboard. Of course you need constant net connection, everything stops and a 30 min. flight takes an hour but what the hey!! :)
White on White fly all night.

Red on White you're alright.

Red on Red you'll soon be dead.
