Have you recently installed fs2002?

If so, either the scenery file didn't install correctly or you have insufficent hard disk space available for installation, or insufficient RAM, etc.

Perhaps you could share your computer specs..........

I don't think it's a hardware issue, although I'm not familiar with your graphics card..........

One thing that did catch my attention is that you are using Windows XP2000.  I've heard that there was a recent update for XP that is causing problems such as the ones you described in fs2002.

Perhaps someone else can chime in with some advice.......... ???

I'm having a similar problem where I get a scenery load error, plus none of the airports have runways or buildings, just large grey spaces. Is this because of a bad install or what? I'm going to try re-installing tonight, but thought I might ask in the meantime, see if anyone knows what's going on. Thanks

and49288,
I reinstalled last night, and my problems cleared right up. Problem was that I apparently did not have enough free space when I installed, and so when it decompressed the scenery, it got hung up. Try reinstaling and make sure that you have at least 6GB free prior to beginning the install. Also, make sure that your recycle bin is empty. Hope it works for you too.

Think it had more to to with the fact that my CPU temp at the time was around 93C thats why the machine was cracking up.

There,s plenty of room on the HD 200GB ,just kidding, 36GB, will re-install  [again] and let you know what happens.

Cheers

That's a little on the warm side! You might want to invest in a heavy duty fan for your processor
