aircraft attitude

Hi all!

I've got two or three aircraft that have a weird attitude when flying. I mean that, when on stable flight and seen from outside view left or right, they fly with the nose slightly pitched down (about 3 degrees or so )

I was wondering if there could be a way to fix it (perhaps in the aircraft cfg).
Any suggestion would be welcome.

You can trim the aircraft by pressing 7 or 1 (with num lock turned off), depending on which way it's pitching.

No, if it's in stable flight that won't do it. If you trim up it will eventually just stall.

If it's flying with a nose down attitude it's usually a sure sign that it's developing too much cruise lift

Go into the aircraft.cfg file and change the cruise_lift_scalar which is usually 1

Reduce it to something like 0.9 and try playing around with the figure to see what results you get.

This is where you'll find it (from the deafult Cessna 182)

You can do a lot by editing this section of the aircraft.cfg file

For some aircraft that may be normal for straight and level flight.  Trimming may fix this, but for some that may just be how it is.  Although your artificial horizons shows you climbing or decending, the VSI and the Altitude indicator is what tells the truth.
