Never heard of any of the bands mentioned. I thought they were video games. I'm a "Big Band" enthusiast which most of you were not around when these bands were hitting the airwaves and the dance pavillions. Ex:  Glen Miller, Stan Kenton, Benny Goodman, Artie Shaw, etc. I also like to dance to the "Salsa" music.

I'm a bit of a 70's & 80's rock/metal fan so my top bands are mostly from this period:
AC/DC
Rainbow
Whitesnake (old Whitesnake, not glam Whitesnake)
Dire Starits
Deep Purple
Iron Maiden
Guns 'N Roses

Loads of others that I like such as Aerosmith, Scorpions, Saxon, Black Sabbeth, but the ones above are my top favourites.

I know what your saying.  I've listen to other types of music, just don't like it.  So I stick to what I like, the harsh Metal sound, and sometimes soothing sound of Classic Rock.  The classics can be heavy too.  But I love it heavy!
