Helping Your Dad

A variation on an oldie but goodie.  :)

An old Italian man lived alone in New Jersey . He wanted to plant his annual tomato garden, but it was very difficult work, as the ground was hard.

His only son, Vincent, who used to help him, was in prison. The old man wrote a letter to his son and described his predicament:

Dear Vincent,
I am feeling pretty sad because it looks like I won't be able to plant my tomato garden this year.
I'm just getting too old to be digging up a garden plot. I know if you were here my troubles would be over.
I know you would be happy to dig the plot for me if you were here, like in the old days.
Love,
Papa

A few days later he received a letter from his son.

Dear Papa,
Don't dig up that garden. That's where the bodies are buried.
Love, Vinnie

At 4 a.m. the next morning, FBI agents and local police arrived and dug up the entire area without finding any bodies. They apologized to the old man and left. That same day the old man received another letter from his son.

Dear Papa,
Go ahead and plant the tomatoes now. That's the best I could do under the circumstances.
Love you,
Vinnie
I love the smell of radials in the morning!

Ya...Me too...Especially after that virgins blood comment awhile back from a meal you were preparing.....Now for some reason I can't help but think of a vampire movie that was made back in the late 80s... I think it was a Cessna pilot....Night Flyer maybe was the name? Stephen King short story......I gotta go google it but i'm thinking now maybe Mr King wrote the movie about Fozz now ;D

Mike.....Vampire fanatic.. 8-)

I thought vampires do the change-into-a-bat thing, then travel to the next victim locale? :-?

Now someone's sayin' they use Cessnas? :o

Ain't it kinda hard to get a Cessna through the window when goin' in for the neck strike? :D

Stephen King wrote it. But at the same time, after being around for a couple hundred years, learning to fly like a regular mortal wouldn't be a bad way to kill some time to learn a skill. The bat is cool to hunt for blood, but auto pilot and a cooler full of O positive is a nice way of getting from point A to B too.... :D ;D :D :P

Hmmn... well, he might have done a little better for his dad; if he could have arranged for each agent to partake of an Ex-Lax chocolate bar or two -- or something of equal merit -- a while prior to their digging engagement, the plot may have been well fertilized, too.
