As it started raining very hard a police car came by and told him they had to leave. He said, no-- he was waiting for a sign from God.
After the first floor of his house flooded a boat came by and told him they had to leave. He said, no-- he was waiting for a sign from God.
After the second floor flooded and they were all on the roof, a helicopter came by and said they had to leave. He said, no-- he was waiting for a sign from God.
Then they all drowned.
At the Pearly Gates he berated God--- "I trusted you. Why didn't you send me a sign?" God replied, "Well, I sent you the weather report, the police car, the boat and the helicopter. What exactly did you want?"
