A man goes to the doctor and gets a physical.

A few days later he is walking down the street with an attractive woman in his arm when he passes his doctor and the doctor says, "I see your doing well for your self"

The man says "Well doc, I'm doing like you said.  I got a hot momma and being cheerful."

the doctor says "Thats not what I said. I said you have a heart murmur, be careful!"

Well, that's not quite the version I recall:

A man went to the doctor for a physical. A few days later he is walking down the street with an attractive woman in his arm when he passes his doctor and the doctor says, "I see you're doing well for yourself."

The man replies, "Well, Doc, I remembered what you said, 'Not good... hear me, and you get a hot momma and be cheerful.'"

The doctor exclaims, "That's not what I said. I said, 'Not good hearing... and you've got a heart murmur, be careful!'"

That actually had nothing to do with the hyphen in e-mail. I just added that in by habit.
