I saw a joke about Kentucky... my current place a residence (thats not the joke).
I felt compelled to post.

Three men are standing at the Pearly Gates. Each steps up to St Peter in turn. St Peter looks them over, and checks The Book.
To the first man, "Is there anything you want to tell me that I need to consider before I decide?"
The man says sheepishly, "I cheated on my wife once, years ago, when I was young. I felt aweful about it..."
"Yes" St Peter says, looking in The Book. "I saw that. You did feel very guilty, and spent the rest of your marriage faithful, striving to make it up to her. In the end you were a good husband, father and grandfather. Your penance paid many times over. You may enter, and enjoy your reward".
The next man steps up, and St Peter again asks "Is there anything you want to tell me that I need to consider before I decide?"
The man stutters ashamedly, "I cheated on my medical school entrance exams."
St Peter checks The Book, "Yes I thought I saw that, just before you went on to be a great doctor, sacrificing much for your research, saving so many with your dedication and perseverence. A credit to your profession. Your desire to overcome this blemish resulted in fantastic work, and absolution. You may enter and rest well."
The third, a younger man, steps up. St Peter asks, "Is there anything you want to tell me that I need to consider before I decide?"
"Well", the man says, "I guess I should tell you, I spit on the boots of a Kentucky State Trooper."
St Peter checks The Book and finds nothing.
"You did what?"
"I spit on the boots of a Kentucky State Trooper"
He checks The Book again. Nothing.
"When did you do this?" St Peter asks.
"About five minutes ago..."
