Hung Like a Moose?

I really don't think this is what most people think when they use that phrase!  ::)

Pogo Moose Incident -Fairbanks, Alaska

"They were laying new power cables which were strung on the ground for miles. The moose are rutting and very agitated. He was thrashing around and got his antlers stuck in the cables. When the men (miles away) began pulling the lines up with their big equipment, the moose went up with them. They noticed excess tension in the lines and went searching for the problem. He was still alive when they lowered him to the ground. He was a huge 60 inch bull and slightly peeved !"  :o

Actually, that's not so uncommon -- bull moose are often high strung. ::)

This picture is obviously in the wilderness. But can you imagine if it were in an area where there was a road that passed under it. The driver doesn't see the moose hanging there and all of a sudden something scares the crap out of the moose...lmao. Now that's a pile on the windshield.... ;)

Or some poor drunk looking up and seeing a flying moose...lmao. Flying squirrel my a$$, they never said the darn moose could fly too. This would probably traumatize the poor fellow so bad that he starts watching reruns of Rocky and Bullwinkle on the Cartoon Network to make sure he didn't miss something.  :-/

You just reminded me of when my aunt was so upset after a ride in her new Chrysler: she and my uncle were following behind a dump truck carrying a load of manure when its dumper let loose at on the uphill... :o ::)
