Well I've finally found out why airlines don't like flying to Liverpool International (John Lennon).....

They used to have one like that at Gatwick in British Caledonian livery. It didn't have any wings on it like this one. They used it for training cabin crew. I think when BCal went bust they let the fire crews play with it. ;)

PS. I think Ozzy's reference to Liverpool runs a little deeper. if you go there they warn you not to leave anything for a second or when you get back it will be propped up on a few bricks with the wheels missing. No offence to my friends in Liverpool. ;D

I knew it couldn't be at any US airports...especially in NY....reason being...it still has the wings and fuselage. They would have stripped it to the frame and recycled all the aluminum.
