A meal fit for a Queen...

It looks like its going to be some miserable weather this week-end, for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee celebrations....

..so for Dins today I rustled up a nice warming Dinner to combat the cooler temperature...

That does look good Paul... :)

We have been getting April Showers during late May and now early June.

Cold, damp and wet the last couple of days, today and the forecast for next week looks like showers until the week-end.

We were going to drop into a bugsmasher field this afternoon for tea and pie with ice cream but now the old girl told me we should stay home and keep warm.

We are going to have almost exactly what your picture shows but for our supper at about 18:30 hours our time... ;)

I was just watching the fishermen in their small boats out on the river...you have to like fishing a lot more than I do to bundle up in a snow suit, sit in a small boat, bob up and down and wait for some fish to decide to swim around... ;D

That has to be as bad as weekend bug smasher drivers sitting around the flying club, telling lies and watching the rain fall... ;D

Cheers...Paul... ;)
Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

Had a lovely gammon joint for lunch today, dinner alas has been reduced to cheese on toast with Branston Pickle (fast food of the Gods) :)
However the new snooker/pool table is nearly ready for action. Emi is just brushing up her knowledge of the rules...
