I'm surprised that 'forced Marmite eating' isn't part of the interrogation training for the special forces  ;D

I can remember that my dad dared me to eat a spoon full of Marmite once. :o

I still had Marmite on my toast the next morning though.

New Zealand Marmite is different to British Marmite; it's not as strong & has a unique flavour.

Sanitarium New Zealand, the people who make NZ Marmite actually brought back the Marmite that they had exported to Australia so the New Zealand supply would last longer.

I think I'll stick to good old PB & J's.

Although for some reason, an Underwood Deviled Ham sandwich entered my mind. Have to be careful of that stuff, though.

Nah... a PBJ sounds better, and it's better for me, too!

Marmite and Bouvril is not found in all large grocery stores here.

Several large chains do carry both.

Both can be found in most country stores along with various tangy cheese like Imperial Cheese.

Now Dundee Marmalade which we used to purchase in a white porcelain crock is another favourite of ours.
We think it is the best marmalade made... ;)
