Do you talk to your passengers...

Postby Fozzer » Fri Mar 16, 2012 5:48 am

..during your Sim Flights?.. ;D..!

I spend a lot of time in familiar places, (as the Bishop said to the Actress!.. :-*..), and I often/mostly do a running commentary about everything around me as I "fly"...Solo and Multiplayer...
Fortunately there is no-one else in my room at the time, so my descriptions can be very detailed and enlightening to my imaginary passengers...(which would be annoying to any real human beings in close proximity, trying to watch the Television!)... ;D...!

So..there you go, Chums..... ;)...

Are there any more Flight Sim Nut-cases out there, who persist in talking to themselves during their imaginary flights?

May the Good Lord help us!... ;D... ;D... ;D...!

I have to admit I do describe my flights to my wife if she is in the room. But describing my flight to imaginary passengers is certainly NOT out of the question! In other words...you are not alone Fozzer  ;)

Whew!  I thought  was the only one! ;)
Ladies and gentlemen, please observe that the captain has turned on the chain-smoking sign, as your flight will almost certainly be erratic and result in overspeed.  Please keep your seatbelts fastened for the duration of the flight as sudden control movements can be expected.  Tonight's movie will be 'Dazed and Confused' and there will only be an in-flight meal if the captain gets the munchies.  Should the captain be sober enough to make it to the correct airfield your chances of a safe landing are slim, so enjoy the flight while you can and thank you for flying Air Bud Greene. :D :D ;D ;D

I've done that a time or two myself. I'm actually looking for some sound files I can add to my jet liners so as to here a little chit chat in the cabin whilst I try not to kill everybody on board. Wouldn't mind some flight deck conversations as well.

Just remember Fozz....You can talk to yourself all you want and no one will think your crazy....Just don't answer yourself.I,m also guilt of that one ;D

I've been known to shout at passengers "Be grateful this isn't a glass bottomed 'plane or you'd see the Golden Gate between your ankles you fairies!" ;D ;D ;D

Okay, so we know that many of us speak to our passengers.  What I wish to know is how many of you get replies. :D ;D

If I'm doing a scenic tour in my Catalina I usually talk to my passengers about the area we are flying in.

Sometimes they even answer back if I do a bad landing. :D

I also mutter to my plane & sometimes shout at it if it misbehaves.

And on CFS3 I sometimes imitate radio chatter about what we are going to attack & why.

Yesterday I was attacking a cruiser & imitating the chatter.

Ok so yes, I

Also I find it really hard in CFS3 not to use slang from WW2.

So after I attacked the cruiser this was my combat report that I made up.

We sighted a Jerry Cruiser in the harbor. I lined up our Stringbag & launched our Tinfish right into Jerry

We don't need anyone else around, when we can have such wonderful conversations with ourselves!... :D...!

We say what we want, and we get the all answers we need!...
