Familiar with Facebook?

Postby pete » Mon Mar 05, 2012 2:45 am

The Simviation FB page seems to have changed. I'm told that FB has done this as part of a new design but I HATE it and want it back to what it was .. (shame we even have to have a FB page ..  ::) )

Does anyone know enough about FB to know how to change it back so we have a small thumbnail in the top left and the posts at the top of the page?

Thanks

The new design is called "Timeline" & I believe Facebook have started automatically upgrading pages to it.

I have looked & I don't believe that there is a way to change it back.

Actually it says 'Did you try the new Facebook timeline out of curiosity and now you want to know how to revert back to the old Facebook layout?'

I didn't do this or change ANYTHING. THIS IS SO FRICKING ANNOYING

Yip, bout' 7 years ago, I dumped MYSPACE after they decided ya needed to have 400 other applications just to be on their site or it'd lock up ! Never did do FACEBOOK, not even once, never tried, I stuck with YOU TUBE, and that was good enough, just wish they'd leave it alone and quit changing stuff needlessly.  Besides FB sems quite boring just from what i've seen of it . Right up there with that Twitter or quitter or whatever ya call it,, it all seems pointless to me. :-X :-/ :-?

As a college student facebook is pretty nice and useful. You just dont put any information on their you dont want anyone to see and dont talk to people you dont want to. I get all kinds of wonderful tid bits on facebook from airshowbuzz.com, EAA, aviation week, Duncan Aviation, Dassault Aviation, USAF Heritage Flight Foundation, National Museum of the USAF, the Smithsonian Air and Space, aviationhumor.net, World of Tanks, World of Warplanes, and on and on. That and for college students it is nice to keep in touch with friends from other colleges as our lives are go go go 24/7 usually (sometimes without sleep, thank you homework  >:( ).
