Anyone have a really big kite I can borrow? It's getting rather windy here. ::)

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Good morning Larry... :)

Looks like you need an umbrella as I see some severe thunderstorms as well...

The flooding I see, would that be along the Mississippi River?

Stay in bed and pull covers over head...Larry... ;D

Thanks Doug. :)

Actually, it never got that bad here. It got pretty windy for a little while before the storm front arrived, then just a little rain. It passed rather quietly. Folks a good bit further north did not have it so lucky.

My sister in law in Tuscaloosa called to let me hear the tornado sirens going off.  I always find them so spooky.  Can't wait to move there next year.   8-)

I'd loan you my old Raven 225 hang glider, but it's probably too far gone as a feast for moths... :)

If the 225 stands for maximum pounds it can lift, we'd never get off the ground anyway. ::)

That's a bit questionable here... we'd remain at a standstill... tethered to the nearest tree... until there was a substantial wind (I began my major interest in aircraft with The Hurricane Story).

[color=#000000]It was a single surface two seat training kite,

with about a seven to one glide ratio which compared to today's kites

it dropped like a rock, high tech for the early 80's!

225 lbs was indeed the max weight and I weighed a paltry
little 220 lbs back then. Oh to be young and slim again

You forget that I am a Marine...everytime I move I create an EF-5 tornado!
No, I haven't forgotten that you're part of the Military Armed Retinue In Navy Equiped Ships...

but, in that watery relationship to a twister, wouldn't you more like be spouting off?
